Scienscope Intros New X-ray Component Counter

Chino, CA — Scienscope Inter national, an inspec- tion solutions provider, has introduced its AXI5100c X-ray component counter. The machine is capable of counting the latest 03015s as well as 7 and 15in (178 and 381mm) reels. Besides count- ing reels, the machine counts components in ESD bags, storage sticks and trays. The AXI5100c also performs traditional X-ray

inspection of electronics, as well as counterfeit component detection. The AXI5100c-i is a fully- automated in-line system that can handle loading and unloading of components using various con- veyors, loaders/unloaders and robotic systems. The company also offers its View-X 1800 cab-

inet X-ray inspection system, which is a full-fea- tured entry level system. It contains a state-of-the- art 90kV micro-focus X-ray tube, and a standard 4 x 3in (102 x 76mm) flat-panel detector with tilting

capability. The X-spection 6000 is a more advanced system, which has a 130kV micro-focus X-ray tube, with an optional 5 x 5in (127 x 127mm) digital flat- panel detector or an optional ultra-resolution detector. Both have tilting capability up to 65°. The X-spection 6000 also has a rotating table that can move a total of 350°. Also from Scienscope is the AXI-8000, which
