Hainan Airlines has increased capacity on its four-times-a- week service from Manchester to Beijing ahead of its launch on June 10. The carrier will operate a 292-seat aircraft, offering 45 seats more than the aircraft originally planned. The service will be the only UK direct flight to China from outside London.

Alitalia to launch service from Rome to Mexico City
Alitalia will offer an alternative route to Mexico City when it launches direct services from Rome Fiumicino from June 16. Services will operate from Rome three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

SAS Scandinavian offers cheaper Go Light fares
SAS Scandinavian Airlines will offer a new economy fare for passengers with carry-on bags only from April 27. SAS Go Light fares will be “about £10” cheaper than SAS Go fares, which offer the cheapest non-flexible option at present.
