ROBOTIC MULTI-PALLETISER increases supply chain efficiency

Whatever the number of different products, line speed or complexity of pallet patterns, a robotic palletiser will meets the exact needs of every customer, says DAN-Palletiser

f you are looking for uptime, speed and reliability with end-of-line palletisers

DAN-Palletiser continues to develop increasingly sophisticated equipment in order to enhance the efficiency of its customers’ businesses and to build on its reputation for high performance machinery. Today the company continues to invest heavily in the further development of both its modular and standard robotic palletiser units. Whatever the number of different products line speed or complexity of pallet patterns, a robotic palletiser meets the exact needs. DAN-Palletiser can build in single or multi-pallet handling capability Euro, Chep and display pallets. Palletisers can be integrated with stretch wrappers, automatic depalletising, pallet conveyor systems and pallet weighing and labelling systems. Recovery times are short and efficiencies of the robots exceeds 98%. The company has made considerable advances in the development of a compact footprint robotic palletiser which handles a variety of bags, boxes, baskets, buckets, cases, cartons, crates or tubs. Its footprint makes it ‘plug & play’ ready; it’s available at short notice, very easy to install and much smaller than you might think. Programming of carton sizes and pallet patterns is simple: just

It is possible to palletise boxes, bags or

type in carton size, select pallet pattern and number of rows per pallet. The palletiser has more than 40 pallet patterns and handles up to many cartons/min and have multiple recipes for various carton sizes or patterns.

ROBOTIC PALLETISING SOLUTIONS When you want to make the most of your space, increase productivity and reduce labor costs a robotic multi palletiser can be the right choice for lower product flows and several lines. A multi palletiser can palletise up to

12 lines using one machine, achieving a space- and cost-efficient solution with high level layer buffering, simple controls, reliable and fast recovery.

BESPOKE DISENTANGLING FROM STANDARD ELEMENTS

MAFU Automation disentangling and feeding equipment from R. A. Rodriguez allows users to sort, feed and accurately place non-sensitive parts regardless of their size, material or geometry. The main differentiators between MAFU technology and its competitors are the reliability of the disentangling process and the choice of feeding, separating and transfer elements available to enable the optimal combination to be specified. This flexibility is complemented by productivity boosting options and quality assurance technology. At the heart of the MAFU disentangling is its drum

system. Bulk goods such as springs, pins and bent- wire parts are fed into the drum via a funnel and its rotation allows them to be gently disentangled and released to the outlet. A variety of hopper systems are available for bulk feeding and drum designs and sizes to suit the application including antistatic, sieve and acrylic options. After disentangling, the individual parts are released onto a patented

separation systems according to the nature of the product and how it is to be further processed. Examples are output via tube for springs, pins and sleeves; on-rail threading for circlips or rings and on-rail hanging for screws, rivets and nails. One disentangling system can work with multiple

tracks; up to 40 have been installed for a European customer; the tracks can be equipped with a variety of sensors and image processing systems for process and quality control. An expert in process automation with experience

across manufacturing industry R. A. Rodriguez is well placed to recommend the best combination of MAFU design elements for the task ranging from manual, semi-automatic configurations through to fully automated systems complete with integrated automatic fault clearance.

plastic crates at the same time. The fundamental principle in multi- palletising is the ability to feed from more than one line to the single robotic palletiser. In line with ongoing commitment to the development of innovative, high performance robotic palletisers, DAN-Palletiser contributes to supply chain efficiency with restacking and repalletising systems to fully automate the process of preparing full pallet loads. As a result, full pallet loads of products can now automatically be depalletised from an inbound pallet and then repalletised in the warehouse onto an outbound pallet.

RENT OR LEASE A PALLETISER Many manufacturing and co-packing companies can raise their annual profit by renting a palletiser and therefore financial circumstances are not an issue as there is no investment up front. At any time you can buy the palletiser at a price you can agree upon and if you do not need it any more or want to rent a faster machine you can return it. DAN- Palletiser takes the entire risk by renting the machines to the customers who make savings in one of the most expensive processes in the production, the last step when you place the products onto pallets. A rental agreement includes costs of freight, installation and commissioning, 8 hours' training of your operating personnel, service overhaul and maintenance for the whole period so it will not cost you a penny to get started with the palletiser. The company supplies a range of industrial sectors with its high performance robotic palletisers and the world’s biggest brands with core customers representing the general food and beverage sectors and growing animal feed and chemical industries. Today DAN-Palletiser equipment is at work with the world’s biggest beverage and FMCG manufacturers including Nestlé, Carlsberg and Unilever.
