CATTLE RAISERS COMMUNITY

MEMBER NOTES

Taking the Time to Give Thanks By Curtis Younts, Association Promotion Committee chair

T Curtis Younts

HE AUGUST MEMBERSHIP REPORT SHOWED TEXAS AND SOUTHWESTERN CATTLE RAISERS Association (TSCRA) membership has increased to nearly 17,100 members.

What is causing TSCRA membership to grow? It’s a combination of many things, but the most important factor is the contribution of our ranch gathering hosts. Ranch gathering hosts are the bedrock of the local connection to TSCRA

members. Hosts provide the venues where we can hold events. Hosts also contact local ranchers, elected offi cials, and other local leaders, inviting them to spend an evening with TSCRA. In addition, many hosts help cook for attendees or pro- vide signifi cant fi nancial support to offset the costs of conducting these events. Here is a list of all the TSCRA ranch gathering hosts for 2015. Please take a

few moments to reach out and thank anyone you know. We are truly grateful for their contribution to TSCRA.

Thank You!
