Ryanair boosts network from London for 2016
Ryanair put its summer 2016 schedule from London airports on sale last week, with new routes from Stansted to Milan Malpensa, Sofia and Verona, and from Luton to Vilnius. It also unveiled new cabin crew uniforms and inflight menus.

Iberia Express launches Manchester-Madrid route
Iberia Express launched a three-times-a-week service between Manchester and Madrid this week. The flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays until the end of October, when the Wednesday flight will finish.

Vietnam Airlines adds Dreamliner flights from UK

Vietnam Airlines introduced Dreamliner flights from Heathrow last week and added a fifth weekly service to Vietnam, ahead of going daily next spring.
The carrier flies to Hanoi on
Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays and to Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A sixth weekly flight, to
Ho Chi Minh City, will be added
on October 28, followed by an extra one to Hanoi on March 28. Vietnam Airlines operates the
latest version of the Dreamliner, the 787-9, with 274 seats, including 35 in premium economy and 28 flatbeds in business class. The carrier switched to
Heathrow from Gatwick at the end of March to join fellow SkyTeam members in Terminal 4. Fares will remain unchanged.
UK general manager Le Thanh Dung said: “There will be no change in price this year because

we have changed our business mix to bring in more high-end and business customers.” Vietnam is promoting itself as
a gateway to Laos, Cambodia and Burma, and recently introduced visa-free entry for stays of up to 15 days. “We are the number-one carrier to Indochina,” said Dung.
