Titan launches Traveller brand for value holidays

Escorted tours specialist Titan has introduced a brand offering lower-priced, independent trips.
The programme, called
‘Traveller, by Titan’, does not include home transfers or a tour manager. The operator said it is aimed at clients who are visiting a destination they have seen before or those who don’t have the time or budget for a full Titan tour. The first Traveller brochure
is for cruise and features no-fly holidays, with prices starting at £259 for a four-day Christmas Market Cruise to Amsterdam. A Traveller brochure for escorted
tours will also be produced. The Cruise brochure features 18
itineraries on Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ Magellan, 11 of which are new for the operator. Majestic Fjordland, an eight-day

Tauck to invest £10m over five years to boost profile in the UK
Tauck, the luxury guided tours and river cruise operator, has revealed plans to spend £10 million to establish itself in the UK market over the next five years. The family-owned company originally operated only in the US, but has expanded to offer tours on seven river cruise boats in Europe and itineraries worldwide. UK and Ireland country manager Ray Steward said:

Agency sales manager Edwina Coppock said: “It’s exciting to be able to offer this new product to the trade. We plan to launch a much wider range in 2016.” All cruises are commissionable.
