Sing with choirmaster on Voyages to Antiquity trip
Experienced choirmaster and conductor Bob Porter is to join Voyages to Antiquity’s Greece & the Adriatic Sea cruise next May. Passengers will have the chance
to sing with Porter, the founder of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London, the largest and most significant choral festival in the country, on Aegean Odyssey’s 14-day sailing. The cruise sails from Athens to Venice, with ports of call including Dubrovnik.
Porter will run three choral
workshops on board, culminating in a grand finale performance. Also on board will be guest
speaker John Osborne, a classicist and lecturer, who will give talks on subjects including Roman imperial history and religious architecture. The cruise includes 11 shore
excursions, among them a visit to The Last Byzantine Fortress in
Gythion, in Greece.

Norwegian features new Freestyle cruises in 2016-17 brochure
Norwegian Cruise Line is featuring a range of new European, Asia and Australasia itineraries in its 2016-17
Freestyle Cruising brochure. New cruises are offered on
Norwegian Star and Norwegian Spirit out of Copehagen, Venice, Barcelona and Istanbul, while Norwegian Epic’s western Medi- terranean summer sailings feature Marseille as a new port of call. Norwegian Star has new cruises
to the Gulf, India and Sri Lanka, as well as itineraries to southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Additional departures have been added from Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, and the line has expanded its Caribbean range with new cruises from San Juan. A free premium drinks, speciality
restaurant or internet package and onboard spending money are available on specific sailings for
bookings before September 30.
