Amendment 3 Consumer Units.


Amendment 3 to the wiring regulations (Jan 2015) requires consumer unit enclosures to be manufactured from non-combustible materials, as you would expect Crabtree Starbreaker


consumer units are fully compliant with this new regulation. So there’s no reason to wait for the moratorium to end to start improving safety standards, regulation 421.1.201 states that early compliance with this new regulation is not precluded.
