vending industry professionals coming together for one intense day of networking and viewing the latest industry innovations – and goes to prove once again that the industry does not need to spend thousands of pounds to exhibit their products and services at larger events for little return.” Vending International spoke to some of the exhibitors to find out

their thoughts on the midlands edition of the vending industry’s favourite one-day trade show… "It's possible to have as many useful meetings in the six hours of

show-time as in a normal working week," commented Vendman's Steve Reynolds. Vendman’s software is an intrinsic part of the control systems of the vast majority of the marketplace’s leading players, and its innovative Vendman Lite offers affordable management solutions to smaller vending operations and even start-ups. “People are beginning to understand that Vendman isn’t just for the Big Boys,” Steve said, “Vendex was the perfect platform for us to get that message across to a lot of new faces.”

Ireland stated, “We want to be present in the vending market, taking part in all the most important vending events in order to be close to our customers, listen to their needs and support them in the choice of the most suitable solutions for their business. Vendex is only one milestone in the SuzoHapp Vending on the road tour: the Group will participate in Vending Benelux and Avex in June, at Eu’Vend in Germany in September and at Vendex North in November.” “Vendex is always a brilliant show for Burts Potato Chips to

showcase their products to the vending industry," said business development administrator Neal Hotchkiss. "This year we were able to present our new Hobgoblin and Devon Roast Beef Crisps along with our healthier snacking Lentil Waves. This gave the operators the chance to sample our fantastic products first hand with the view of gaining valuable spiral space in their machines. Feedback on the products was positive with many companies stating they would list the new lines and we are now looking forward to returning next year with more exciting and innovative new products for vending.” Vending refurbishment specialists Excalibur proudly unveiled their

impressive Bean-to-Cup Coffee Motorcycle at the show. Sales & marketing manager Ryan Harper said: “We wanted to incorporate the venue with the vending of coffee. Thankfully, our talented engineer, Carl Jones, bought into our vision and the concept is very much down to his hard work and expertise.”
