2015 Cattlemen at the Capitol Events T


SCRA AND TEXAS CATTLE FEEDERS ASSOCIATION (TCFA) hosted the 2015 Cattlemen at the Capitol in Aus-


tin, Feb. 23 through 27. Activities kicked off in the evening of Feb. 23 with a reception at The Driskill Hotel, where many state offi cials visited with cattle industry leaders and association representatives.


TSCRA and TCFA were also at the Texas State Capi- tol on Feb. 25, where they met with Governor Greg Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Speaker Joe Straus and approximately 30 other elected state offi cials, to discuss their legislative priorities for the 84th Legis- lative Session.


TSCRA offi cers met with Governor Greg Abbott during the Cattlemen at the Capitol events in February.
