All Leisure Group is looking to boost business through agents by undertaking a trade blitz this month. The sales team is out on the road informing agents about the new 2016 cruise programme for the group’s two lines, Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic. Sarah Weetman, head of trade sales at All Leisure Group, said: “The trade will get our brochures and we’re getting out there on a bit of a blitz, telling agents

river cruising, offering a Trois Rivieres de France cruise around the Bordeaux area and Nantes on the Loire. Weetman said Voyages of Discovery will offer a Britain’s Beautiful Isles cruise and said there would be lots of ship-visit opportunities in the future.

John Wimbleton, chairman of the add-on provider, said agents should “go a step further” and differentiate their service by offering to book cruise excursions. “We offer 12,000 excursions in 700 ports, so the opportunity for agents is massive,” he said. “We’re working really hard to get that message across to agents because some may not realise the extent of excursions and ports available. “We’re definitely seeing results

anybody else’s lunch. In fact, over the years I think we’ve increased awareness of cruise excursions.” Wimbleton added he hoped Cruising Excursions would achieve “significant triple-digit growth” in bookings by the end of the year.
