DISTRICT 4 — NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA Four Cows Stolen from Ratliff City Area TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier reports the theft


of 4 cows from a property in Carter County, Okla. Between Jan. 12 and Jan. 14, a thief or thieves made a makeshift cattle chute to load 4 cows from a pasture near Ratliff City, Okla. Missing are a black white-face cow with an M brand on the left hip; a black motley-faced cow with an M brand on the left hip; a black cow with a triangle brand on the left hip; and 1 solid black cow with no brands or marks. All the cows had red ear tags bearing numbers below 25.


Angus Calves Missing from Stroud Area Eleven Angus calves went missing from a property


near Stroud in Okfuskee County, Okla., between Dec. 15 and Jan. 8. The calves weighed approximately 450 to 500 pounds each. All the calves were branded on the left hip with a diamond with a P inside it.


ZZ Branded Cow Missing from Bray Area A black cow, weighing approximately 1,200 pounds,


has gone missing from a Stephens County pasture near Bray, Okla. The cow has a ZZ brand on the left hip, a right ear tip notch and a white ear tag in the left ear. DISTRICT 5 — EASTERN OKLAHOMA Two Cows Shot From Wagoner County Road Special Ranger John Cummings reports that 2 cows


were shot from a Wagoner County road near Porter, Okla., between Jan. 21 and 22. One cow was brown, between 7 and 8 years old with an ear tag reading #5W. The second cow was white and between 5 and 7 years old, with ear tag #H7.


12-Year-Old Cow Shot, Butchered in Rogers County Special Ranger Cummings is seeking information on the shooting of a cow in Rogers County, Okla.


40 The Cattleman April 2015 At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thurs. Feb. 5, a Rogers


County rancher found a 12-year-old black cow shot and killed, 30 yards from the intersection of Winganon Road and NS 4200 Road, near Chelsea, Okla. The cow was shot in the head with a small caliber weapon and the suspect(s) had removed the right hindquarters and some of the loin from the dead cow. The remainder of the cow was left untouched. The cow was heavy-bred and the loss is re- ported at $2,500. According to Cummings, this is the third cow and calf


they know of that was killed and butchered in the area since 2010. Cummings worked a similar case in the same area in 2012. Anyone with further information regarding this case

A cash reward may be paid to individuals who can provide useful information leading to the arrest and grand jury indict- ment of suspect(s). Corriente Bull, Unbranded Cow Missing from Chelsea Properties


Special Ranger Cummings reports a bull and a cow miss- ing from properties near Chelsea in Rogers County. The fi rst to go missing was a black Corriente bull with horns, weighing approximately 1,000 pounds, in November 2014. The bull had a backward 7 brand connected to the letter B on the left hip and an ear tag with #88. The cow, which went missing between Jan. 8 and 12,


is 5 years old, black with white hair on the neck area, and weighs approximately 1,000 pounds. She is not branded or marked. If you have any information regarding these cattle, please call Special Ranger Cummings at 918-342-0888.
