Complete Fitness have developed an APP to monitor and test the fundamental skills, recording each child’s achievements at the touch of a button. Use of modern technology motivates the children to complete the skills levels and at the same time enables them to learn more about nutrition and exercise.
The Complete Fitness Testing (CFT) App is designed to test and record the fundamental movement skills of pupils within EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The App allows the progress of each individual student’s fundamental movement skills to be monitored. Reports can be produced via the app to show each child’s individual progress, for use by teachers, Ofsted and parents alike.
The CFT App benefits schools and its pupils in various ways; • Motivates pupils to monitor and improve their own fitness levels. • Evidences impact of Sports Premium funding. • Enables teachers to provide targeted support to develop pupil fitness levels. • Encourages pupils to follow an active and healthy lifestyle. • Helps teachers to identify and develop talents. • Meets PE National Curriculum requirements.
The National Curriculum outlines that Pupils should be taught to: • Master basic movements including running, jumping, throwing and catching • Develop balance, agility and co-ordination, and begin to apply these in a range of activities.
All our tests show the child’s development within these areas.
