NEW DIGS: After the graduation of AVCA All-American Kirby Burnham in 2014, USC looks to players on its returning roster to fill the void this season. One candidate is junior Alexa Strange (above), who placed 9th in last year’s AVCA Pairs Championship with partner Kelly Claes.
SHOWCASE: Jace Pardon (above) has one more chance to bring a national championship to Florida State, and her play in 2014 suggests she has the tal- ent to do it. Dur- ing one stretch of last season, Pardon won 26 straight matches with partner Aurora Davis.
POWER PLAYER: Litara Keil (left) will be swinging high for the Loyola Marymount Lions in 2015. An All-WCC middle blocker for the Loyola indoor team, Keil proved herself in the sand last sea- son with a 3rd place finish in the AVCA Pairs Cham- pionship with Betsi Metter.
