to light up the court in 2015 by Connor Hastings
TITLE BREAK: The Pepperdine Waves are pursuing their third team national championship in four years, and Lara Dykstra (right) and Becca Strehlow (above) will play a big role in their title push. The two All-Americans took 5th in the AVCA Pairs Championship in 2014, and Dyks- tra picked up a silver medal at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U23 World Championships in Poland over the summer.
SECOND ACT: Sara Hughes (right) had a lot to smile about during her fi rst collegiate sand season in 2014. Hughes won the AVCA Pairs Champi- onship with departing senior Kirby Burnham, and now looks to lead the USC Trojans to their fi rst team champion- ship in 2015.
SHORE PATROL: Katie Spieler (left) covered a lot of court for Hawaii in 2014, picking up AVCA All-American honors and advancing to the fi nals of four different pairs tournaments on the sand. The junior from Santa Barbara, Calif. has relentless energy on defense and will be keeping a lot of rallies alive for the Rainbows in 2015.
