USAV’s SportKit offers valuable tools for coaches


USA Volleyball has developed an online resource tool called SportKit that includes a myriad of teaching tools for all ages. The SportKit, also in a companion DVD format, has free videos, drills, books, posters, articles, lesson plans and more designed to match programming for athletes in elemen- tary school, junior high/middle school and high school.


The SportKit is a valuable tool for all volleyball coaches, physical educa- tion teachers, sports program directors (YMCA, PAL, Park and Rec, etc.), parents and players to learn about indoor and beach volleyball or become a better player or coach. Do you want

“The SportKit, both in its online and


DVD formats, is designed to get everything a new teacher, parent, coach, director might want to implement in a successful volleyball program, broken up into age and/or interest groups/sections,” says John Kessel, USA Volleyball Director of Sport Development. “The SportKit in DVD format allows a teacher to share the skills, drills, videos and


other information off line as many gyms do not have internet access.”
