SKATING 5
for 29th year with all-star cast Stars on Ice, now in its 29th year, will reach the milestone
Stars on Ice gears up
of having performed 1,500 shows around the world in 2015 as it embarks on a nine-city tour March 14 through April 10. This year’s cast features an all-star lineup, including 2014
Olympic ice dance champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White and 2010 Olympic champion Evan Lysacek, who returns to Stars on Ice for the first time since 2011. Joining the U.S. Olympic champions are 2014 Canadian
Olympic silver medalist Patrick Chan, who will make his U.S. tour debut; 2006 Olympic ice dance silver medalists Tanith Bel- bin and Ben Agosto; two-time Russian Olympic pairs champion Ekaterina Gordeeva; 2010 Canadian Olympic bronze medal- ist Joannie Rochette; 2011 British European ice dance bronze medalists Sinead and John Kerr; 2006 World champion Kimmie Meissner; and 2011 U.S. champion Ryan Bradley. “This is my first year touring as a full-time Stars on Ice cast
member and I could not be more excited,” Meissner said. “To be involved in this production has been a dream of mine from a young age, and I am so honored to be part of this talented cast.” At each stop, local skating clubs will have the opportunity
to participate in a unique experience, which includes perform- ing in a group number to open the second half of the show; they’ll also receive a ticket, an event program and an apparel item, and participate in a meet-and-greet with the cast. A free U.S. Figure Skating SkateFest will also be held at five of the nine performance cities. “This is the fourth year I have toured with Stars on Ice, and this is one of the most
Meryl Davis and Charlie White
exciting shows yet,” Bradley said. “We have such a strong cast and their commitment to the group pieces has made the entire process a lot of fun. I can’t wait to hit the road and share our show with everyone out there.” For more information, including tickets, meet-and-greet details, cast biographies,
