Banyan’s Lynn Juengel, vice president of technical services, is responsible for service, including necessary tooling, parts inventory, and airframe and avionics training for Banyan technicians.
VAN RIPER JOINS BANYAN’S HONDAJET SALES TEAM Banyan Air Service announces it recently selected Robert “Bob” Van Riper as sales manager for HondaJet Southeast. University and earned a BS Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management and an AS Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. He also attended Troy University where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Management. His FAA ratings include Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certifi cation for airplanes and helicopters and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certifi cate. In addition, he served 12 years on active duty in the United States Navy as an Offi cer and Naval Aviator. After completing eight years in the Navy Reserve he retired at the rank of Commander.
RBR MAINTENANCE ACQUIRES SPECIALIZED “STALL BARRIER TEST BOX” REQUIRED FOR GULFSTREAM IV “STALL BARRIER DUMP VALVE OPERATIONAL TEST”
RBR Maintenance, Inc. announces it recently acquired a specialized “Stall Barrier Test Box #GSE2720744,” which is the required test equipment used to complete the “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” on GIV aircraft. To date, RBR Maintenance and Gulfstream are the only maintenance facilities that have this required test equipment. The “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” was designed to detect latent failures of the stall barrier dump valve. The Gulfstream Computerized Maintenance Program requires the test be performed on certain GIV aircraft during the next “Stall Barrier/Angle of Attack System Operational Test” and again every 36 months thereafter. “We are excited to be able to off er this specialized tooling to our customers in-house or as a rental option,” says James

Vector Aerospace Corporation, a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, announces that Vector Aerospace Engine Services - Atlantic Inc. (ES-A) and Air Niugini Limited, based at Jacksons International Airport, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea have signed a three-year agreement for an engine maintenance program. As per the terms of the three-year exclusive agreement, ES-A provides comprehensive fi xed-wing aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services to Air Niugini Limited’s fl eet of PW123D/E powered Bombardier DHC- 8-Q315/202 from its facilities in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada and Brisbane, Australia.
