laboratory in Connecticut that will change the orientation of one rotor independently of the other, something that is possible with non-intermeshing rotors or screws. Each rotor will have its own motor and gear system. These operate synchronously under normal conditions. But if there is a need to fi ne-tune a formulation by changing the timing of one rotor to the other, the independent motors and gears will allow this.
