“When I came here, my goal was to win four national titles. I knew it was going to be tough, but I’ve had great coaching and I’ve had great game plans for my matches.” - Logan Stieber

LOGAN’S RUN

Ohio State standout Logan Stieber looking to become just 4th wrestler to capture 4 NCAA titles

By Craig Sesker Ohio State senior Logan Stieber is

used to accomplishing amazing feats on the wrestling mat. But this season could top them all. Stieber not only has a chance to become just the fourth wrestler in the 85- year history of the NCAA Championships to win four individual national titles. He has a chance to lead his Buckeye

team to its first NCAA team title in school history. “We have an opportunity to do some-

We are very fortunate to have him in our program. He’s also shown potential recruits the proof that freshmen can win an NCAA title at Ohio State.”

I’m really excited to see him have the opportunity to do that.”

So how does Stieber maintain his focus

and keep his composure as he pursues his fourth NCAA title? “I’ve been very lucky to have great coaches who have guided me and helped me keep things in perspective,” Stieber said. “My coaches will keep me on the same plan and make sure I stay focused. I am just taking it day-by-day, but I’m hav-
