Many may think nothing has to change, but we must always be getting better and improving on our techniques and strategies. We are never really sitting still; we are either moving forward or back- ward. We must not only keep our hunger for success, but gain the consis- tency that we are looking for. This past year we showed moments of brilliance, but we must be consis-
tent. The final thing the USA Women’s National Team must do is stay united.
We have come a long way over the past couple of years because we are all united to one vision. Everyone is doing their part. We must not go back to working in silos. We must keep a system of development in mind as we move forward. Again, a plan is not to smother and strangle us but rather guide and keep us united in our path moving forward. USA Wrestling and everyone involved in it has a big year this coming
year.

With the World Championships here in Las Vegas, we have a great opportunity to showcase the strength of the sport of women’s wrestling to the International Olympic Committee and the strength of the USA Women’s program to the rest of the World. It is not only a World Championships at home, the World Championships in Las Vegas also serves as the first Olympic qualification event leading into 2016. We have a great opportunity next year in Las Vegas, now it is time to put the plan in place and start working again for the top.
