Parish Church of St Cuthbert, Edinburgh: The present church was built in 1892 — when traces of at least six earlier church buildings were found — and now has a basilica-like layout with a rounded vault. There is an overall Byzantine feel to the interior while much of the decoration is inspired by the Italian Renaissance which was popular at the time of construction.
