Golden Service Awards 2013
Sponsors roll in for 2015 Golden ServiceAwards
The 2015 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards has announced three new sponsors: Reintec, Metzger and The Building Futures Group. The awards, which will be officially launched in October, have seen an unprecedented upturn in companies wanting to be involved, with a few sponsorship opportunities still avail- able for next year’s event. The Building Futures Group (BFG) is announced as a silver sponsor. The BFG was established in 2014 follow-
ing the merger of Asset Skills, the Cleaning and Support Services Association, and the Facilities Management Association. It is a trade association, membership body and a training organisation that educates, represents and supports service providers, service users and end users, as well as individuals and employers operating within the housing, property, cleaning, parking and facilities management sectors. Rob Lowe, marketing manager UK & Ireland, Kimberly-Clark Professional, said: “We welcome the BFG and
look forward to working with themto promote best practice in businesses within the cleaning industry. We be- lieve the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards will create an ideal platformfor the organisa- tion.” In addition to the BFG, two new ambassador sponsors are announced as Reintec and Metzger, ensuring ex-
cellent support for the awards programme. Reintec, part of the HSS Hire Group, is a fully outsourced cleaning equipment service for contract cleaners
that offers an innovative way to supply, maintain and manage your cleaning equipment. Helping you to save time, save money and guarantee compliance, Reintec enables you to flex your fleet up or down in response to demand without the need for investment. This helps to avoid downtime whilst ensuring kit is always safe and ready to use with proactive and fully managed service plans. Paul Lewis, managing director of Reintec, said: “We are passionate about driving excellence in the cleaning
industry, and are proud to sponsor the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards to recognise the best our industry has to offer.” Metzger is a privately owned company whose business has grown and prospered around the belief that pur-
suing long termclose relationships with clients and candidates, based on mutual respect and trust, is the key to creating real value for all parties. Now in its 20th year, Metzger offers much more than recruitment, having extended its business services to include business acquisitions and interimmanagement, as well as other partnership ventures with complementary businesses. Metzger provides creative and practical talent manage- ment and human resource solutions to the cleaning, facilities management and infrastructure services sec- tors, working with both leading organisations and ambitious small businesses. James Metzger, chairman, said: “We are delighted to be a sponsor for the first time and become more in-
volved and committed to the sectors that we have been part of for the last 20 years.” The British Cleaning Council, which has supported the programme from the start, will also be an ambassa-
dor sponsor, sponsoring the BCC Site Supervisor of the Year Award. The Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards will additionally be working in partnership with
Cleaning & Maintenance magazine, which has also been involved from the start, with a monthly feature about the awards, sponsors and winners. The British Institute of Cleaning Science - sponsor the BICSc Industry Training Award - is responsible for
overseeing the judging process, as well as judging and presenting the BICSc Award at the ceremony. Lynn Webster Associates will once again be responsible for judging the Healthy Workplace category. Rob Lowe concluded: “We are thrilled with this fantastic line-up of sponsors for the awards programme to be
launched officially in October this year. We welcome the new sponsors and look forward to working with them and our partners to bring the cleaning industry the best Golden Service Awards to date. We still do have a few sponsorship opportunities left and would welcome enquiries from companies who are interested in supporting the Golden Service Awards.” The Gold Sponsor and other sponsors will be announced at the official launch.
