Compass encompasses condensing units

THE NEWLY EXTENDED version of COMPASS has been released with an updated database for compressors as well as an option to replace installed condensing units. Available online for free use worldwide by refrigeration professionals, it proposes the best Danfoss alternatives for replacement of compressor and condensing unit.

DEAN & WOOD has launched its online catalogue. John Billson, managing director said: “Our customer’s needs were carefully considered every step of the way in the design and development of the catalogue. “The process was made so much easier by having a team of refrigeration and air

conditioning engineers in house who live and breathe this industry. Our engineers have produced a product catalogue for engineers.” The catalogue will be growing with the addition of products, advanced search capabilities, product specifications, technical PDFs and online ordering.

By indicating a few letters of the failed model, the software selects the best alternative models from Danfoss with a mention of the deviation from the initial cooling capacity and dimension.

The COMPASS software includes information on applications, refrigerants, technology and type base.

The online software tool enables you to get the basic information about the suggested models – cooling capacity, dimensions, power supply, oil type – or to obtain more information in Danfoss online catalogue. The actual release indicates the choice of Danfoss compressors and condensing units as an alternative to 26 compressors and condensing units from other manufacturers. The equivalent models are given according to the region in which you are located.
