While serving in this school district, Katherine was afflicted with a chronic health condition, which forced her into retirement. A few years later, John joined her in retirement. John has been continuing many activities such as boating, fishing and playing the guitar. She has been focusing on improving her health to date. She is also as active as pos- sible as a member of Temple Judea in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Katherine and John will continue to share a passion for equality of opportunity for men and women, a solid education, excellence in business practices, and serving to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
