Comment Welcome changes
AT A TIME when all the talk is about the domestic RHI, it’s great news that the Government has introduced some long-awaited changes to the non- domestic RHI. This has had an overwhelming response from the industry and the implications a far reaching. The changes now mean air-to-water heat pumps will finally be
included in the scheme while there are also increases in tariffs for ground-source heat pumps, solar thermal technology and large biomass. With awareness of renewable technologies
already heightened since the launch of the domestic scheme, these amendments should only add further incentive for businesses to invest. More choice for potential customers will mean more non-domestic RHI applications and this will be a welcome boost to the industry.
