WE ENDED 2013 on a high, with some incredible new business and customer products, and being crowned Best TMC at the awards carried this excitement through into the new year. It was the perfect acknowledgement to our fantastic teams’ hard work and dedication. We were also absolutely delighted with winning Best CSR Programme – it has reaffirmed, both internally and externally, that we are following the right path. Entering the awards gives a chance to demonstrate leadership and gain recognition from industry peers. It also develops a true sense of pride within teams, knowing they are the best.

Our 44 per cent growth in business passengers in the last four years gives us a good idea that we are listening effectively to our customers, and to be recognised by the business travel industry in this way gives us a further endorsement of our strong progress to date. Most importantly, winning the award has helped to challenge traditional perceptions of Easyjet as a ‘low-cost’ carrier, and we are proud to have beaten traditional legacy carriers to the award.
