Facilities Show 2014 Preview
Propelair flush with enthusiasm
P
ropelair® Limited, the UK designer and manufacturer of the revolutionary 1.5 litre flush toilet, is to exhibit at Facilities Show 2014. Taking place at ExCel London, the event is in its 15th year and is undertaken by the organisers of Ecobuild, where Propelair exhibited in March.
Propelair will welcome visitors to
stand U1530 at the event on 17 to 19 June when they can: • See a live show demonstration displaying how Propelair’s technology works;
• Learn about the direct benefits Propelair can achieve for the FM industry;
• Receive a one-to-one water audit and cost saving consultation;
• Take away a tailored information pack and DVD, specific to your needs;
• Enter our competition to guess how much water the Propelair 1.5 litre toilet saves during the show, and win a 1.5 litre Magnum of Bollinger Champagne!
The Propelair system combines an air pump with the water cistern and works when the lid is closed. The combination of air and water means the loo can be flushed more efficiently, using a fraction of the water needed in a traditional toilet, potentially generating major savings. The system greatly improves hygiene by removing 99.9% of germs. Propelair’s highly innovative toilet is the result of five years of intensive research, development and independent testing. Designed and manufactured in the UK using patented POWA™ displaced air technology, Propelair produces a powerful, high-performance flush requiring only 1.5 litres of water instead of the average nine. It is ideally suited to both new developments and as a retrofit in existing commercial buildings. Propelair has achieved several milestones since its September 2013 launch and is gaining traction in the B2B building and property management markets. The toilet is now installed in prestigious commercial buildings, institutions and fast-food restaurants. The
company has a world-beating product and is engaging more directly with the people who influence buying decisions. Garry Moore, CEO of Propelair, said: “The response we had at Ecobuild from FMs, architects, quantity surveyors, structural engineers, plumbing contractors, builders and others was fantastic. We’re ready for our stand to be a real talking point and a focus for anyone interested in cost saving, water conservation and energy efficiency – 2014 is our biggest year yet.”

LION shows how to hang pictures flexibly, safely & securely
P
ictures bring an interior to life and allow occupants to personalise their space. But buildings can be damaged by improper hanging of pictures, and more security and flexibility is often required than standard picture hooks can offer. LION’s wide range of picture hanging systems offer flexibility when displays or occupants change. For environments where a high quality permanent installation is required, LION offers an extensive selection of safe & secure fixings, heavy duty fixings, and hangers for more unusual situations
such as marble walls. Lee Tandy, Sales Director at LION says: ‘We’re looking forward to meeting visitors to Facilities Show 2014 and guiding them to the optimum picture hanging system or fixing for their specific application.’ Meet LION on stand Q1400 at Facilities Management 2014, ExCel London 17-19 June.
