On Irish shores…

A soft launch started on Irish shores when the company was approached by Spas who had heard of Lava Shells through the extensive press coverage inmainland UK or in response to requests fromclients.

GalgormSpa in Northern Ireland was the first account to take the plunge, introducing both the Lava Shell and Lava Rescuemassage, but the ROI quickly followed with a plethora of accounts being set up at locations throughout Ireland, including Dunboyne Castle Hotel in CountyMeath, Ciuin Spa andWellness Centre at the Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club in Ballyconnell, Carlton Shearwater Hotel and C Spa in County Galway, Nadur Spa in Tralee, The Rock Crystal Spa at Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel in Donegal, TheMarker Hotel in Dublin and Seascape Spa in County Donegal.

The success of the Lava Shells treatments in Ireland has subsequently led to the appointment of Susanna Shields- McKenna to lead the Ireland-based training courses. Susanna, a leading Beauty Therapy College Lecturer in Northern Ireland, started her career in the beauty industry when she was 16 years old, after discovering it was her real passion. Since then, this enthusiasmfor keeping ahead in this fastmoving industry, combined with a natural talent, has got her where she is today.

“We’re excited to have Susanna on board developing Lava Shells in Ireland,” Clare

told IB. “Susanna will be working alongside our long-standing Irish trainers Nicola Ryan and ClaireMcgill. Susanna brings with her a wealth of experience in the professional beauty industry which makes our Lava Shells teameven stronger.”

This commitment in staff, training and a strongmarketing strategy for Ireland which includes press reviews, professional editorials, events and exhibitions will ensure that Lava Shells become the next big thing in the Irishmarket.

When asked what the future holds for Lava Shells in Ireland, Clare responds: “I amthrilled we are in a position to fully launch the Shared Beauty Secrets brand into the Irishmarket at the Irish Beauty
