The original performance was filmed by Granada TV as The Blues & Gospel Train, an iconic record of the ’60s blues revival in Britain. The 2014 event sees musicians and speakers gathering at the site of the original 1964 show (now the Fallowfield Loop urban cycle way, Atholl Road entrance, Manchester, M16) to share songs, food and reminiscences. Later, the Carlton Club, Rowan Lodge, 113 Carlton Road, Manchester, M16 will host an evening with Naomi Kashiwagi, The Blues Collective, Wangari, Morganfield, DJs and more. Tel: 0161 427 9955
