EASTERN EUROPE

For the more adventurous touring teams, or for clubs looking for new and exciting destinations, Eastern Europe fits the bill perfectly. The cost of living is incredibly cheap and more than makes up for any additional travelling costs. A pint of beer from 60p, 3 course dinner from around £8 combined with outstanding hospitality will ensure that you have a memorable tour.

The Czech Republic PRAGUE

Rapidly becoming a number 1 city break destination and it is easy to see why. This beautiful medieval city, situated on the banks of the Vlatava River, is easy to get to know. The old town, Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle are accessible by foot and linked by quaint cobbled streets. Artists, musicians, pavement cafes and street markets give a wonderful atmosphere to the city by day. At night more than 2000 bars, clubs and restaurants really come alive. There are Irish pubs serving excellent food and hospitality, sports cafes housed in airy converted cellars, open air discotheques on the river, and, for incredibly cheap food and drink, join the locals at a typical Czech Pub - you won’t be disappointed. ISL organise the Prague 11’s, see pages 22/23.

IN OUR OPINION Eastern Europe is a great destination for all age groups, adult tours will find the prices very reasonable and the nightlife superb. Younger groups can combine football, education and culture in a visit to any of our featured destinations.

The tour was excellent. I would certainly

recommend a visit to Krakow. Our hosts were friendly and looked after us well on both days. Thank you very much for your assistance with the tour.
