HOLLAND
Ever popular, the Netherlands is once again the number one tour destination for UK teams. The quality of Dutch sports facilities, the popularity of football, the easy going nature of the Dutch are just a few of the reasons that makes Holland a destination that teams love returning to. ISL operate to all areas of the Netherlands and offer tournaments and friendly fixtures in all locations.
The Ajax Arena and World of Ajax Holland’s most famous football club boasts a superb, futuristic stadium on the outskirts of the city. Guided tours are available at a cost of around £10 per person; this includes video presentation, guided tour of the stadium and museum – we can pre-book this tour for you.
The Dutch Coast ZANDVOORT is a lively seaside resort just 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Many teams choose to stay at Center Parcs, located in the dunes, a short walk from the sandy beach, resort centre and train station. Zandvoort is an excellent base for the many International tournaments in the region.
SCHEVENINGEN and KIJKDUIN are the seaside resorts of The Hague, both resorts are suitable for adult and youth teams. Scheveningen is the largest resort in Holland which is reflected in the tourist attractions available such as Seaworld Centre, Madurodam miniature village, the Pier and Casino together with a lively nightlife.
NOORDWIJK AAN ZEE further along the coast boasts a 10 mile long sandy beach that is frequently used by the Dutch National team for training camps. Although smaller than Scheveningen, it nevertheless offers plenty of attractions to touring teams. The pleasant town centre is virtually traffic free, there are many excellent bars, clubs and restaurants.
Valkenburg Amsterdam
No visit to the northern part of Holland is complete without a visit to the city of Amsterdam. For adult clients the attractions are many and varied, the nightlife, bars and clubs are renowned, whilst younger groups may enjoy a canal cruise, Madame Tussauds, pedaloe hire or a visit to the fabulous Ajax ArenA. Whatever your reason for visiting, Amsterdam offers a wealth of attractions for young and old alike.
IN OUR OPINION Adult groups will stay in the central area, the city is easy to explore on foot or using the excellent tram system; we offer budget hotels through to 5-star hotels. For younger groups we suggest that a stay on the Dutch coast or holiday park is more suitable, with a half or full day sightseeing visit to the city. We can arrange a canal cruise combined with a visit to the Ajax Arena in advance.
Situated in the south of Holland in the Limburg province, Valkenburg is a spa town and has been a tourist destination for over 100 years. The area is especially popular with youth groups, the Valkanier Amusement Park, Toboggan Run, Bowling and Laser Quest are among the more popular amusements. Valkenburg is very close to Belgium and Germany which means we can offer a truly International line up of matches during your stay. You may also visit the Phantasialand Theme park just over an hour away in Germany, this is one of the largest in the country and offers a multitude of roller coaster rides and attractions.
Thanks for an
excellent tour to Holland the facilities and tournaments were first class and the players had a wonderful experience. Would recommend ISL to any team.

IN OUR OPINION The resorts make an excellent base for touring teams. The Hague is around an hour from Amsterdam, Noordwijk approximately 40 minutes and Zandvoort only half an hour. Teams will enjoy the seaside atmosphere and great nightlife whilst having easy access to Amsterdam.
