BELGIUM
Football in Belgium is as popular as ever and for 2013 we are pleased to introduce the Bruges Cup, a new tournament at Easter for youth teams. Travel times from the UK are short and Bruges is only an hour from Calais. English is widely spoken and there are many tourist attractions; this combines to make Belgium an excellent destination for touring teams. ISL operate to all parts of the country, the most popular areas are featured here.
The Flemish Coast OSTEND
Self styled “Queen of the seaside resorts”, Ostend is the closest Belgian city to the UK, around 1 hour travelling time from the channel ports. The city makes a good base for adult touring teams, the vibrant nightlife centred on the Montmatre area, excellent and immense sandy beach, casino and good shopping centre all make Ostend an attractive city to visit. Accommodation is in family run tourist hotels up to 4 star hotel.
BLANKENBERG - DE HAAN Just along the coast from Ostend are the small towns of De
Haan and Blankenberg, two lively seaside resorts adjoining a superb sandy beach. These resorts are suitable for all types of groups, the attractions include Sea Life Centre, pier, swimming complex, a multitude of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, discos, bars, picturesque restaurants and much more. Accommodation options are many, tourist hotels and family run guest houses, the Center Parcs Holiday Village near De Haan offers bungalow accommodation with a superb range of facilities including a sub tropical swimming complex and aqua park.
Cities
ANTWERP The locals say ‘All roads lead to Antwerp’ - the city’s ring road
connects to motorways leading to France, Germany, Holland and the Channel Coast, it is also one of the Worlds largest International ports. This is part of the reason why the city is such a cosmopolitan, slightly exotic but hospitable destination. The nightlife of the city is the best to be found in Belgium and the wealth of activities, culture, markets and Chinatown make this an excellent city for adult groups to visit.
BRUGES
Host city of the Bruges Cup, the city is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Bruges is certainly charming with its canals, medieval buildings, attractive squares and relaxed atmosphere. The Belgians fondness for food and beer is reflected in the fact that there are over 350 restaurants and 500 bars. Other cities featured include Brussels, Gent and Liege.

IN OUR OPINION It’s close proximity to the channel ports means short travelling times, typically 2 hours to Antwerp from Calais and between 60 - 75 minutes for the coastal resorts. The Flemish coastal region is excellent for younger groups whilst the cities featured are more adult orientated. There are 5 theme parks within easy reach of our resorts, including the largest in Belgium - Bobbejaanland.

for organizing everything, the driver of the coach was spot on, location of the hotel was very
good as was the hotel itself, the football games were all played in the right spirit as well and really friendly
people, the nightlife was really good and in general I think the tour was a success, thank you for all the help you have provided with organizing the tour, I know the lads have
already put me on tour organizing duty for next year and I can safely say we will defiantly be using yourself again without fail.
