EUROPEAN SUPPORTERS CUP SATURDAY 4TH MAY

The 10th ESC invites the supporters of professional clubs to compete in the name and colours of their favourite team. The 11 a side football festival, which also welcomes men’s open age teams, is held on the top quality artificial surfaces of RCD Espanyol’s training ground in Barcelona.

IN OUR OPINION We’ve all had dreams of representing our club, of wearing the shirt with pride, of scoring the winning goal in a cup final. Now here’s your chance to shine for your favourite team in the Spanish sun.

Location The lively resort of Lloret de Mar is situated on the Costa Brava, 30 minutes from the historic city of Girona and an hour north of Barcelona. Once the typical package holiday destination for Brits, Lloret de Mar has morphed into a delightful town that caters for tourists from all over Europe. The nightlife remains as good as ever, but now the resort can boast EU blue flag beaches, excellent restaurants, casino and many other attractions.

Accommodation We use the 3* Hawaii and 4* Olympic Park Hotels in Lloret de Mar. The hotels are located close to the resort centre and the main beach. The Olympic Park has 7 swimming pools, tennis courts, table tennis, gymnasium, squash, sauna, solarium, bars, restaurants, and nightclub. All rooms are twin and triple bedded with shower, wc and satellite TV. Buffet breakfast is included.

OUTLINE ITINERARY

Friday 3rd May Check into accommodation and explore the resort and nightlife.

Saturday 4th May The European Supporters Cup, followed by presentation. of the trophies.

Sunday 5th May Free day for relaxing at the beach, by the pool or at the waterpark.

Monday 6th May Return flights back to the UK.

The arrangements were superb. Everything on time.

The tournament itself was a great experience. Organised well and I know the lads enjoyed it.
