What will your new role entail? I’ll be in charge of the total management of our organisation, handling our print and digital business operations.
How has your education and work experience prepared you for this leading publishing position? I have been working for the company for 10 years. I started as a key account manager in the sales team, later becoming advertising director then publisher and, before my appointment as commercial director. These different roles provided me with a deep knowledge and understanding of the company’s activities and structure and I got to know all aspects of our business.
I graduated as a teacher of Hungarian and German language and literature, so my interest in words was always a determinative part of my life, be it in the form of a book or a magazine. Later on, I complemented my passion for content with the knowledge of economics at a post graduate media management course at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. After a few years working, I further developed my publishing skills with the FIPP Magazine Brand Management Certificate followed by a FIPP Digital Publishing Course.
