WE ARE THE CREATIVE ASSEMBLY

From our humble beginnings over a quarter of a century ago, we’ve grown steadily from a starting team of fi ve, into one of the world’s most admired games studios. Employing over three hundred amazing developers from all corners of the globe, our mission is to craft the greatest game experiences possible for our legions of fans.

Whether that’s through the continued development and evolution of our multi- award winning Total War™

series, our work on console titles utilising our own

internally developed, bleeding edge technology, or our high-profi le collaborations with globally recognised intellectual properties such as Games Workshop’s Warhammer®

and Twentieth Century Fox’s Alien™ Could you make your own history with us? TRANSPARENCY ACHIEVEMENT

We set ourselves very high standards here at CA, and you’ll see that right across the business. From our class leading games, to the way that we run our development teams, even in how we connect with our community, you’ll find this desire to be the best deeply ingrained into our culture.

Our flat structure means everyone has a voice and our door is always open. Have an idea about improving a game feature? Want to see an exciting initiative implemented? We work hard to find amazing people to be part of our studio, so we feel it’s vital to encourage a culture of trust to allow these incredible professionals the opportunity to challenge the status quo and suggest ideas and improvements to our games or workplace. It’s this transparency that enables us to constantly evolve and improve as a team.

PERSONALITY

Our people are our greatest asset and we want to help them grow both professionally and personally. That’s why we’re committed to training and development for all our staff, acquiring new skills, mentoring junior team members and being involved in the hiring process when we are looking to engage new talent.

Working at Creative Assembly is like being part of a family, and we want family members who want to stay with us, grow and shape their careers, making great games within a non-corporate, fun but hugely professional environment. It’s no surprise that we have numerous staff who are approaching twenty years with CA, and are still as passionate as the day they joined us.

AUTONOMY

We are wholly-owned by SEGA and work closely with our publisher, but we operate largely autonomously and like to do things a little differently from your average games studio.

Here at CA, we believe that an internally focused, unified development strategy is most effective and as such we’ve gone to great lengths to bring many key processes in-house. Whether this is providing a state of the art motion capture studio and high end recording suites, or building a large quality assurance team for instant testing feedback, or an in-house marketing department to work directly with the development team.
