Thermal Imaging Franchise Opportunity is Red Hot
Europe’s largest independent infrared surveying practice – IRT Surveys – is offering one of the hottest business franchise opportunities in the market.
D
ue to environmental, climate change and legislative pressures demand for thermal imaging surveying services has never been greater and to meet this growth IRT is offering a unique franchise package. IRT Surveys are offering franchise territories throughout the UK. Franchises will receive full technical training in all the services IRT offers including infra-red building surveys, energy assessments, IRT carbon dashboard, refurbishment savings reports, thermal imaging, building and roof surveys, continuity insulation analysis. Previous technical experience is not necessary but a background in the building or construction trades would be a definite plus. Franchisees will also have access to the IRT Surveys processes, systems, name, logo, website, history and marketing strategies as well as lead generation support. The business has low overheads as it can be operated initially from home and owners can use their own vehicle. This franchise opportunity is a fantastic opportunity as a stand-alone business or as a great added value service to those businesses already working in the target sectors of IRT clients such as building construction, renewable energy, roofing and insulation companies and so on. Founded in 2002, IRT Surveys is a well-established thermal imaging company started by Stewart and Alan Little who have over 11 years
experience in the field. IRT specialises in non-destructive testing of buildings via infrared surveys, thermal imaging and electronic leak detection. Over the past 11 years the company has surveyed over 12 million metres of flat roofs, solved countless persistent defect issues, resolved numerous disputes and helped business owners ensure they have energy efficient buildings that are free of defects, resulting in substantial savings for customers. The company’s services save clients hundreds of millions of pounds every year through the identification of building defects and energy loss. Stewart Little, managing director of
IRT surveys said: “We give franchisees everything they need to start up and build a highly profitable business Businesses and public bodies are under ever increasing pressure to save energy, use resources efficiently and cut carbon emissions… we provide the tools and knowledge to help them do this. The franchisee journey starts with a 10-day intensive training programme at our headquarters which will cover sales, marketing, finance and administration as well as the core technical training.” He added: “This franchise offers the potential to make a substantial income. By year three an IRT franchisee could be generating sales of over £200,000 and profits of over £83,000 from the business. We are looking for
hard working individuals with drive, determination to succeed, who enjoy dealing with people and are committed to giving excellent client service.” Existing Glasgow franchisee Martin Fitzpatrick said: “I was in healthcare sales and business development for 10 years and felt I needed a change of direction. I came across the IRT franchise by chance and it immediately appealed to me. I saw the huge business potential in the energy efficiency sector. The franchise fee was reasonable and I re-mortgaged my flat to get started. Within six months I could see that this was a really good business. I have been an IRT franchise owner for four years now and I love the flexibility of being my own boss, working from home.” He added: “In terms of earnings I have now made more with the franchise than I ever did over the previous ten years. I am debt free and really looking forward to the future. I feel the success of the franchise has been built around my sales experience. The first 18 months involved building the client base through cold calling and networking. Now most of my income is derived from repeat business. If you enjoy selling and meeting people this could be the business for you.” The cost of an IRT Surveys franchise is £24,995 (+VAT) plus there will also be a capital expenditure (for essential equipment) and working capital requirement.
