VIEW FROM THE TRADE

Donald Dingwall, Stena Line’s marketing manager for the North Sea route: “We have embraced the blogger revolution and value the personal accounts of ferry travel that bloggers can share. We have run blogger trips on our North Sea route from Harwich to Holland and are always pleased with the results. Bloggers produce lively accounts of their experiences, and share their photos on Facebook, tweet and update their Instagram feeds – it all makes a difference when customers are thinking of booking our services, as they can see a detailed view of the hotel-like facilities Superferries can offer. One recent post by Europebycamper is a perfect example of how travel companies can reach niche audiences – and it’s entertaining too.”
