A tie-up between TTG, Leeds Metropolitan University and the ITT has resulted in two TTG academic scholarships –worth more than £13,000 apiece. Edward Robertson outlines the details and what potential applicants can expect to gain from the courses
NEW SCHOLARSHIPS offered by TTGwill help bring new levels of knowledge to the industry, TTG managing director Daniel Pearce has claimed. The two TTGScholarships developed in
conjunction with Leeds Metropolitan University are the MSc in travel business leadership and the BSc (Hons) in travel business management. “The academic courses have been designed following consultation with more than 30 chief executives and directors of UK holiday companies, ensuring they address the needs of the modern industry,” said Pearce. “We all know training leads

and Ireland, said: “We have been impressed with the manner in which the degrees have been developed with travel industry involvement to ensure that the content of the courses is relevant to the needs of travel industry professionals and their employers. “Our support for the course team will
continue in the months ahead as we assist with the content of the Technology for Travel module that is part of MSc Travel Business Leadership,” she added.
