The fuselage top box section is closed up. The exposed edges of the fuselage joints have been covered with gummed paper tape. The long leadout wires (above left) are rolled up for convenience. The bottom fuselage has been

Close up the top fuselage by adding pieces
F1 through F3. Close up the bottom fuselage with pieces F4 through F7. Press F6 around the curve in the bottom fuselage by hand. Note that two 1⁄8-inch ply gear mounting plates are inserted between F4 and F6. Be sure to bring fuel tubing fill and overflow lines out during all covering operations.
