Porsche 918 Spyder


Some slightly less informed people might think that “hybrid” means slow or sluggish - well, think on because the latest arrival from the Porsche camp is the 918 Spyder with a 0-62mph time of just 2.8 seconds. It reaches 124mph in 7.7 seconds and then 186mph in 22 seconds. T at’s no slouch then!


Powered by a 4.6-litre engine, the 918 Spyder will be a very special edition limited to just 918 units. Porsche is currently taking orders for the car which is built to


order and has a price-tag of more than £700k And there is already a waiting list.

T e interior of this four-seater features state-of-the-art technology and although the C-X17 may some time off , Jaguar intends to use its new platform to produce a sports sedan by 2015. convoy of the Range Rover Hybrids is taking on the Silk Trail - a 16,000km expedition visiting 12 countries from the UK to India.
