cut, formed, punched, shaped and thermo-formed. It is supplied in a standard 200 x 200 mm board size to meet user requirements. It ensures an excellent level of clean drying in a wide variety of products from electronics,
machinery, optics,
instruments to pharmaceuticals and food. Hybrid adsorbent polymers offer low dusting, with no risk of loose desiccants from broken bags. The board is not water soluble, uniform in thickness and easy to pack. It is non-corrosive and non- deliquescent and even provides a printable surface. Complex shapes, pliability and mechanical fixing are all achievable using moisture adsorbing polymer. This helps ensure maximum spare occupancy.

SCHURTER now offers the UMF 250 in a total
of 14 rated currents between 500 mA and 10 A. The SMD fuse is well suited for voltages up to 250 VAC and 125 VDC. It features a high breaking capacity of up to 200 A at rated voltage. These features and more make the square-shaped UMF 250 a compact alternative to traditional 5x20 mm cartridge fuses.
The UMF 250 is suited for primary and secondary protection on SMD circuit boards. Applications of the device include, for example, power supplies, medical and lighting equipment as well as electronic devices used in the home and in industry.
As a halogen-free fuse that conforms to RoHS, the UMF 250 is compatible with lead-free soldering processes. In addition, it has VDE and cURus approvals. By meeting the internationally recognized IEC 60127-4 standard, the UMF 250 serves as a universal modular fuse (UMF) link for use around the world.

The new encapsulated magnet design allows reliable direct use during production, even on wet painted and e-coated substrates. It eliminates any risk of either magnet damage or magnet loss when the probe is removed from a cured paint surface at the end of the oven process. The miniature surface and air thermocouple which employs state-of-the-art samarium-cobalt magnet technology can be placed into the tightest of recesses.
