eCommerce Expo


The popular keynote programme will feature addresses from web giants Facebook, Twitter, Google, PayPal, Visa Europe and Nectar. With an emphasis on practical advice for ecommerce firms, Dara Nasr, the Head of agency sales at Twitter will give a presentation titled 'How to use Social Media for eCommerce' while Facebook's Director of sales for UK & Ireland John Lamphiere will talk about how companies can utilise and monetise social media. Jonathan Vaux, Senior vice president of V.me at Visa Europe will deliver ‘A new era of payments in the changing digital landscape’ which will cover meeting the new customer experience challenge and how to deliver success in the virtual wallet arena. There will also be a glimpse into what lies


ahead for ecommerce with Mike Davies, the Sales director for UK and Ireland at PayPal talking about the future of payments while Google UK's Retail industry head Martijn Bertisen will examine the store of the future. Nick Holzherr, finalist in the 2012 series of the BBC's The Apprentice will also deliver a

keynote speech talking about his experience on the show and the journey of his angel­ backed startup Whisk. The event will also host a number of


seminars over the two days, in four separate areas covering Digital & Mobile Marketing, Ecommerce & Social Platforms, Payment & Security and Delivery & Customer Loyalty. "We're incredibly excited to have such a wide variety of companies involved in all aspects of ecommerce speaking and exhibiting at this year’s eCommerce Expo," said Rebecca Slater, Event manager for eCommerce Expo. "While attendees will benefit from practical advice about how they can better exploit their social media channels, for example, they will also be able to get a glimpse of how ecommerce will change in the future, and how they can best position themselves to take advantage of this. There will also be a plethora of exhibitors, panel discussions and more than 50 seminars at the event, giving visitors the chance to gain an insight into topics such as mcommerce, social commerce,


digital marketing, mobile, fulfilment, delivery, payments, security and more," she continued. eCommerce Expo will feature more than


160 exhibitors and specific areas on the show floor include the MetaPack Customer Loyalty and Delivery Zone, the UKWA Pavilion and the Magento Partner Pavilion. The Paypal Networking Bar also returns once again as a central place for attendees to meet up and network with one another and catch up on some emails or calls in between visiting stands and listening to education sessions.
