Plastek UK has invested in a Cube mould production system to produce a striking new five-component aerosol actuator for Unilever’s Sure range of deodorants. The actuator, which includes a soft touch button and novel locking mechanism, was designed by Pininfarina of Italy and is claimed to provide class-leading functionality and aesthetics. Plastek has been working on the project for the past three years, providing process, product and tool


design input. The company has invested


in new Ferromatik moulding machines and one two-compo- nent Cube moulding system to
