RWM Profiles RISE

Recycling Industry Service Engineering (RISE) is an engineering sales and service company serving the recycling industry. We aim to constantly expand and revise an extensive range of new and second- hand machinery, including shears, balers, shredders, material handlers and container tilters, for the loading and unloading of 20ft, 40ft and 45ft containers. Our container tilters are suitable for a

wide range of uses including the loading and unloading of scrap metal, RDF, biomass, grain and shredded products. Our most recent project for E.ON is an

example of our flexible approach in providing bespoke solutions to customer requirements. Ironbridge Power Station recently

underwent modification to run on 100% biomass (wooden pellets). There was a requirement to top up the conventional rail bulk wagon loads with containerised rail deliveries. RISE was able to modify an existing

proven solution for container unloading and deliver the complete package in four weeks to enable an additional 15,000 tonnes of biomass to be unloaded into the existing fuel handling facility every month. Rise Ltd are the sole UK agent for Metpro

International, selling its entire range including new hammer mill shredders, pre-shredders, wear parts and in-feed conveyors.

Dolav

Recycling containers are abuse ready in recycling’s survival of the fittest. In ‘severe abuse’ tests by independent

tester, TÜV SÜD, the Dolav Ace was dropped, crushed, spiked and rotated. It outperformed other, apparently similar,

plastic pallet boxes showing it is ‘abuse ready’ for real world recycling tasks. According to Dolav, “Best ‘price-for-spec’

does not tell the ‘real life’ story.” The Dolav Ace strength is confirmed by

lead acid battery recyclers. Many specify it and call it the ‘Battery Ace’.

Case study: Money talks at Yorkshire waste food recycling company At Mosley Waste Management, Topcliffe, Simon Mosley has a simple solution to mechanically handling food waste. “If we use IBCs they only last two or three

months if we are lucky, but a Dolav Ace lasts for years.

“It only costs about twice the price of an

IBC and we can sell used Dolavs years later, still in good condition, for the same as an IBC costs. It’s a ‘No brainer’,” he said. Mosley added: “The other main advantage

of the one-piece moulding and integral runners on the Dolav is that the runners don’t come off. “They can’t unclip. Some others do. We

won’t have them,” he insisted and continued: “The Dolav Ace is able to stand up to bad handling.”

Case study: Kellogg, Manchester. Environment manager, Harry Almond, said: “The Dolav pallet bin is strong enough to stand up to punishment by forklift drivers, who treat it as a waste bin.”

Fercell: Bomatic

Capable of processing up to 20 tonnes per hour (material dependent) and offering a variable fraction size output without screen changes, the Bomatic Rotacrex vertical shredder series, launched by Fercell Engineering introduces vertical shredding - a refreshing departure from current market alternatives. The Rotacrex vertical shredder brings

a high degree of flexibility to the material it processes (dry or wet) and a truly reliable, robustly built energy miser - a new era in shredding. Proficient in processing materials such as food, food packaging and AD waste, abattoir waste (including bones), electronic scrap/WEEE, wire, scrap metal, automotive plastics and catalytic convertors to include numerous other currently difficult to efficiently process waste resource streams with existing technology. For more

information, visit our website or call and chat your requirement through with our customer support team. Our input is

key to your output.
