We are all eagerly awaiting the government’s response to the WEEE Regulations consultation, due this month. In the meantime, with higher targets on the cards for both business and household WEEE, it’s good to see Lambeth is doing their bit in installing low-energy light bulb recycling points across the borough. Bertie Bulb has been helping Lambeth to promote the new facilities, by making a guest appearance at the Lambeth Country Show last weekend. Bertie was a real hit, especially with the younger Lambeth residents! Bertie is also back in the spotlight with his new online video, which stresses how easy it is for households to recycle their low-energy light bulbs. He is hoping that this video will be as successful as his debut, which was launched last summer. You can view the video on Recolight’s youtube channel.
