Scolmore Group Lancashire County Cricket Club

The world-famous Pavilion at Lancashire Country Cricket Club has been fitted with Inceptor integrated LED Downlights by Scolmore Group. The club was redeveloped in early summer of 2013 and new lighting was fitted during this time.

The Inceptor was chosen as it provides a solution to the issues surrounding restrictive ceiling voids. Inceptor can be fitted in to a recess depth of just 60mm – making it one of the most flexible fittings currently available. Flow Connectors were integrated in to the product which makes it quick and easy to install as well as to remove and replace for circuit testing. John Lawrence from Genlec Electrical Contractors was responsible for the specification and installation of the products and had this to say: “We wanted to incorporate LED downlights from both an energy-efficiency and a low-maintenance point of view and the Inceptor product met with these criteria and more. The light output is excellent and aesthetically the downlights work really well with the modern look that has been created. As well as a five year commercial warranty, the low maintenance factor will save costs in the long run.” The new fitting was used approximately 240 times in a variety of finishes, and the refurbishment is due to be completed by August 2013, in time for when the Investec Ashes return to the ground. The new club will provide state of the art facilities to teams and supporters. T: +44 (0) 1827 63454 W: www.scolmore.com
