Product Manager £35,000 - £40,000 basic + bonus


New opportunity to work for this expanding Lighting manufacturer and utilise your product marketing skills. As an integral member of the dynamic marketing team your main responsibilities will be to:- conduct regular market research on the lighting and construction market to identify new product opportunities and trends, develop a feedback process to capture product request data from the regional sales team, organise regular feedback sessions/forums with customers and the regional sales team, set up a product specification sheet to provide detailed information to the technical and procurement teams for new product requests, manage and update the master product file in conjunction with the purchasing and commercial management teams, arrange regular product introduction presentations and ongoing product training with members of the sales teams (both internal and external) and marketing teams plus key customers where appropriate. The ideal candidate should have 3 years’ experience in a similar product marketing role, degree qualified with exposure in the lighting/electrical sector or working with technical products; with good communication skills and the ability to deal with both pressure and deadlines. With an extensive range of products continually being developed and launched you will have access to leading innovating LED designs. You are likely to have several years’ experience at a senior level in lighting sales and be able to make use of your close personal contacts to bring quick results. Experience in the specification channels encompassing Lighting Designers, M&E Cons, Architects, & Interior designer groups would be a distinct advantage.
