Following the success of Megaman’s 15W AR111 LED reflector lamp, the company has extended the range to include a dimming 15W AR111 version. The dimming 15W AR111 provides a direct replacement for 75W halogen spots, in terms of both colour temperature and intensity, without heat generation. Using a large reflector and miniaturized burner, the AR111 provides excellent performance with its narrow beam optic and exceptional optical control.

KNX Consultants, a member of the KNX UK Association, has had a major involvement with Team UK in the build-up to the WorldSkills 2013 competition. The company training in KNX intelligent building technology to two potential members of the team: young electricians Adrian Canning and Matthew Crane. Matthew Crane has subsequently been selected to represent Team UK in the Electrical Installation category of WorldSkills 2013 which will be held in Leipzig, Germany, 2-7 July 2013.

With sustainability at the heart of the design of Rochdale Borough Council’s new development at Number One Riverside, a Delmatic lighting control system is playing a key role in minimising energy consumption and carbon emissions. Number One Riverside comprises two S-shaped six-storey buildings joined by an atrium with link bridges at every level. When complete it will bring together around 2000 council staff from more than 30 buildings, saving over £28m in on-going maintenance costs. It is also designed to reduce the Council’s carbon footprint through a number of energy-saving and other sustainability measures.
