PVA pellet rig

Another of my favourite Enterprise Tackle baits are the Pellets, fi shed simply in a solid bag. Carp eat pellets and treat them almost as natural food on many

waters, so why feed pellets and then complicate things by using something diff erent over the top as your hook bait? I like to use a classic solid bag presentation with a mixture of small pellets and a liberal dose of PVA-friendly glug in the bag. I keep it all very simple. I use a 2 or 3 oz fl at pear in-line lead with a 3 to 4 inch braided hook link, a size 8 Grabba hook, a short hair and fi nished off with an Enterprise Tackle Pellet. You don’t always need a shot on the hook link as the pellet normally just hovers above the free off erings. The carp suck the whole lot in and don’t suspect the small balanced hook bait, that fl ies into the mouth so easily.

Thread Popup Maize onto to hair, before adding bait stop.

A-maize-ing big fi sh rig Fishing accurate beds of spod mix can

be an awesome tactic and fi shing a Popup Maize hook bait over the feed can give you a serious edge over other anglers. I ferment my maize separately to the rest of the mix by soaking it for three days and then boiling it for an hour. I then add sugar and leave it for weeks, if not months, to ferment and add it to my spod mix before my trip. You will be surprised the diff erence it makes. Enterprise Tackle Popup Maize

creates a very subtle and balanced hook bait that has caught me huge fi sh from home and abroad.
